PHANTOM is a well-known and proven lure utilising the intense action of a U-shaped tail. It is perfect for use during slow or fast descents, and for stable movements near the riverbed.

Someone once said that you should never change good and proven solutions. Personally, I think that there is always a place for improvement, and this is the only way to achieve a success. When the Dragon Team began work on the new V-Lures, I immediately started pushing the concept of improving the popular U-shape lures already available on the market. I have known these lures for many years; I had used them to catch hundreds of fish and I knew all their advantages and shortcomings, so it was a great challenge to eliminate the flaws. I had been working on the new lure for almost half a year until finally, after many modifications and many days spent on testing, I achieved the anticipated result. We had not only managed to improve the action of the lure during slow descents by using soft, low weight heads, but also made it possible to move the lure very slowly near the riverbed. In my opinion this lure is almost perfect – it is even more attractive to fish and easier to move than other lures.

A. Cavity at the lure front helps while attaching a head – particularly a head with fixing rings (for example, Dragon V-Point™ or Mustad UltraPOINT™ heads).
B. Narrow body makes it easier for narrow-snout predators to bite.
C. Convex markers placed on the top make it easy to choose the right-sized hook and to attach the lure.
D. Joint with notches in several places.
E. Medium-sized, U-shaped caudal fin.
