TRY THE FLAVOURED GUM ;)
Flavouring lures is still not very popular, with probably only a handful of spinning anglers frequently using a flavoured lure. However, not using them can be a mistake, because in particular cases such lures significantly improve fishing results. The properly selected flavour can make a lure attractive even for non-predatory fish species.
All spinning anglers are familiar with the situation where, despite many bites, no perch or zander is finally caught. Fish just strike the lure with their snout or become detached after a short time being pulled. What you need to achieve at this point is to make them swallow the lure deeper. In some cases it is just enough to change the tempo or to use a differently coloured lure, but it is far better to flavour it. The best solution is to soak the lure up with an intense and oily dip, then move it over the chosen fishing area several times to create a “flavoured patch” to make the fish more active. If you select the right flavour, the fish will swallow the lure deeper, and ensure effective hooking.
Dragon V-Lures are packed in special bags with a string closure and are perfect for flavouring. We particularly recommend the “Magnum Spin” attractors. Thanks to their oil-like, thick consistency, these flavours last and attract fish for a long time. We offer flavours developed specifically with the most popular predatory fish in mind. All you have to do is to pour approximately 10 drops into the bag a few hours before fishing and then keep the bag tightly closed. Such a lure may become your secret weapon against perch, zander or pike.
Apart from typical spinning attractors, we recommend Mega Baits dips. These dips were created especially for carp, but our wide range of products also includes flavours perfect for predators, such as fish and crab, and High Protein Meat flavours. These are typical “stinkers”, with a very strong smell, favoured by predatory species. Their intense smell makes them very efficient – just a few drops are enough for a whole bag of lures. The fish dip has long been used as the secret weapon of perch anglers, including contestants of spinning competitions, who often do not reveal their secret use of flavoured lures.
We recommend flavouring the lures (not only the rubber ones) with attractors and dips. The results may surpass your expectations!
